EMT - BASIC

EMT-Basic is the minimum level of certification for a career in emergency medical services. Students must obtain a minimum 70% grade point average on all quizzes, the mid-term exam, and final exam to pass.
Our EMT Basic class runs for approximately 4 months and seats a total of 20 students. Classes are held Monday and Wednesday nights from 18:00-22:00. Deposit of $450.00 is required to hold your spot.

We offer CPR classes at our ETRI facility or at your onsite location. Our class schedules are flexible to accommodate your busy schedule. Please contact us for offsite pricing.

AEMT - CARDIAC

We are the only school in Rhode Island that splits our AEMT and RI Cardiac courses into two separate phases. Phase 1 focuses solely on the NREMT Advanced and Phase 2 focuses on the RI Cardiac Department of Health protocols and standing orders. ETRI provides ACLS training as part of the curriculum. We are proud to say that our classes have a 98% pass rate for the NREMT Advanced.
Our AEMT - Cardiac class runs for approximately 7 months and seats a total of 20 students. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday nights from 18:00-22:00. Deposit of $600.00 is required to hold your spot.

ACLS

Our ACLS course is designed to teach students the necessary skills for the urgent treatment of cardiac arrest, stroke and other life-threatening medical emergencies, as well as the knowledge and skills to deploy those interventions.
Please contact ETRI for class dates and times. Deposit of $100.00 is required to hold your spot. (ACLS is provided at no extra cost as part of the AEMT/Cardiac program)

PALS

Our PALS course is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to manage pediatric emergencies, as outlined by the American Heart Association standards.
